W.O. “Bill” Hindman, Jr., age 85, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Childress Church of Christ with Mr. Trey Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Tell Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Bill was born on October 24, 1931 in Tell to William Oliver Hindman, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Diggs) Hindman. He served his country First in the United States Air Force and then in the Army Reserves. Bill was a lifelong member of the Childress Church of Christ and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Childress. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Lois Elizabeth Sheid. Survivors include one niece, Lois Graves and husband, David of Houston, TX. Memorials may be made to the Tipton Boys Home.
