Willie Bob Murphy-Dobbs, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Childress, TX.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Joe E. Jones Memorial Chapel in Childress Cemetery with Alan Egerton officiating.
Willie Bob was born on August 20, 1928 to Bud Collyer and Gladys Galbraith Collyer in Childress, TX. Willie Bob married Pat Murphy in 1945. They were life-long residents of Childress and were married for 40 years until Pat passed away in 1985. Mac Dobbs and Willie Bob were married in 1995. They were married for 5 years until he passed away in 2000. Willie Bob worked in Food Service for Children ISD until retirement in 1990. She was also a life-long member of the Bible Baptist Church of Childress.
Willie Bob is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat Murphy; husband, Louie Mac Dobbs; daughter, Nikkie Cauley.
She is survived by her son, Larry Murphy and wife, Marsha of Childress, TX; granddaughter, Kathryn Murphy Allen and husband, Chris of Kansas City, MO; granddaughter, Colbie Becker and husband, Chad of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Cade Cauley and wife, Jenny of Austin, TX; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Allen of Kansas City, MO.
