Obituary for Willie "Tommie" Estoll

Funeral services for Willie Mae (Tommie) Estoll will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Chad King officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Willie Mae (Tommie) Hopkins Estoll was born on September 2, 1922 on a share croppers farm 7 miles west of Eufaula, ok to Charlie and Pearl Hopkins. Tommie boarded the train bound for Glory on March 14, 2013. Tommie and Marvin E. Estoll were united in the marriage that wouldn't last, March 1, 1941. Marvin preceded her in death, Feb. 24, 2007, five days short of their 66th anniversary. Tommie was a dedicated Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Childress since 1954. She was also a charter member of the Naomie Sunday School class and served many years as Class Ministries member. As her battle with cancer progressed, she continued to attend Sunday School classes until shortly before the end, Her Sunday School class was precious to her as was her love and relationship with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her Daddy Charlie, Mama Pearl, eldest Daughter, Lawana LeCroy, 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by: Daughter: Sue Maxwell and Husband Dean of Iowa Park, Tx.; Brother- Ted Johnson of Sacramento, CA: Grandsons- Derric Martin, Jason Maxwell, Johnnie Glenn LeCroy: Granddaughter- Yevonne LaCroy: 10 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren; Numerous of Nieces and Nephews: Large number of friends and church family: In lieu of flowers a donation to the Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd. Wichita Falls, Tx. 76310 for the purchase of Cots for Family or a donation to the Childress Cemetery Association would be greatly appreciated.
