Graveside services for Wayland Dean Jordan Sr., 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Childress Cemetery with Kerry Wood officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
He was born January 30, 1939 in Childress to Raymond C. Jordan and Viola Vaught Jordan. He worked for Central Freight for 21 years. He loved to watch wrestling, westerns and football. He loved the Childress Bobcats. He loved his grandkids tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth, his daughters Penny Baldwin and Karen Criswell a brother T.M. Jordan, sister Evelyn Drinkard, sister Glenda Perkins, brother Joe Jordan and a great grandchild Braylie.
Survivors include a son Wayland Dean Jordan Jr. and wife, Michelle; grandchildren Trey Jordan, Autumn Bomer, Jarrett Poston, Tara Criswell Barnett, Jordan Criswell and wife, Gena, Stetson Criswell, Haley Session, Blake Cooper, Broderick Baldwin, Bryson Baldwin; great grandchildren Kennedi Criswell, Ayden Cooper, Evelyn Criswell, Cayden Sigle and Londin Session; a brother Raymond Lewis Jordan and wife, Juanita, of Saginaw, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews.
