Wanda Joye Owen Hawley, age 77, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Childress. Graveside Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Childress Cemetery with Rev. Randy Wilson officiating .Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM before services. Joye was born July 19, 1936 in Childress to Orville and Mabel Maroney Owen. She was a devoted grandmother. In the past, she served as president of the women's auxiliary At Carey Baptist Church she held membership since her birth. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Buck. Survivors: Daughter - Sherry Hawley and husband,Dwayne McClery of Childress, TX; Step-Son - Jimmy Hawley and wife, Wilma, Slaton; Grandchildren - Buck McClain, Kelly Key, Rebekah Hawley, Jimmy Dale Hawley and wife, Keisha, Christy Hawley, Justin Hawley, and Darla Patton; Seven Great grandchildren Five Great Grandchildren
