Funeral services for Wanda Arnold, 83, will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with John Taylor officiating and Scott Rektenwald assisting. Burial will follow in Carey Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away November 12, 2022 in Lubbock.
Wanda was born July 20, 1939 in Glenpool, Oklahoma to Robert Wesley Taylor and Maxine Faye Taylor.
She loved to cook and bake and would take goodies to her neighbors on holidays. She loved geneaology and loved Christmas and Easter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Arnold, her parents and a brother-in-law, Leroy Springer.
Survivors include a son, Gary Chilcoate and wife, Linda, of Lake Tapps, Washington; daughter, Cathy VanGilder and husband, Paul, of Lubbock; daughter, Cindy York and husband, Robert, of Lubbock; a son, Mike Arnold and wife, Tina, of San Angelo; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Taylor Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Arkansas; a brother, John Taylor and wife, Becky, of Meridian, Texas and a sister, Phyllis Springer, of Colorado Springs.
