Tracy Sims Robinson, age 47, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 in Childress. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Central Christian Church with Rev. Roger Simmons officiating . Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM. Tracy was born on June 13, 1967 in Lubbock, TX to Tom L. and Judy (Ward) Sims. She graduated from Littlefield High School in Littlefield, TX. Tracy's biggest love in her life was her family, and she loved being a mother and attending as many of her children's functions as she could. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, and to go camping. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Tracy also loved to attend family reunions, helping others, and sitting on her porch drinking coffee. She was a member of the Central Christian Church. Tracy received wonderful care at the Harrington Cancer Center, and was especially grateful to Dr. Naderson and the nurses there. She also was very appreciative of the loving care she received in Childress from Dr. Caldwell and his nurse, Kimbra Love. The people of Childress, the We Can Care volunteers, and the T.L.Roach Unit family were very special to her, and she and her family appreciate all the love and care shown to them during her battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom L. Sims. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to We Can Care.
