Thomas Garcia  Jr., age 69, passed away on March 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 10:00AM at Childress Church of Christ with  Mr.Trey Morgan and Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Burial will be held at the Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 5:00PM -6:30PM at Johnson Funeral Home.   Thomas Garcia Jr. was born on July 8, 1949 in Marlette, Michigan to Tomas and Maria Garcia Sr. Thomas served in the United States Marine Corps and was awarded 2 Purple Hearts and Navy Cross Metal. Thomas worked for BNSF railroad  constructing bridges. He is preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers Joe Garcia and John Garcia, Sister, Gloria Tomlinson, Niece, Heather Garcia, Nephew Mark Rocha   He is Survived by;  2 Daughters: Natalie Gonzales, Alisha Vander Linden and Husband Adam Son-in-law: Felix Gonzales and wife Linda 4 Sister: Emma Rocha, Mary Ellen Baker, Gracie Rodgers and husband Steve, Carmen Sullivan and husband Junior 2 Brothers: Oscar Garcia and wife Glenna, Eddie Garcia and Olivia Macias Grandchildren:Chelsea and Emily Gonzales, Kylie, Hannah and Colton Long Sister-in-law: Linda Atwood
