Obituary for Thomas Duffield
Funeral services for Tommy Duffield, 59, will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Carey Baptist Church with Randy Wilson officiating and Jody Wilson assisting. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
He passed away February 25, 2021 in Lubbock.
Thomas John Duffield, Jr. was born July 22, 1961 to Thomas John Duffield, Sr. and Mary Yates Watts.
He was a longtime resident of Childress and a member of Carey Baptist Church. He enjoyed raising and racing pigeons. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren who he loved very much. He also shared Jesus with anyone who would listen.
He was preceded in death by his father Tom Duffield, his father Bill Watts, a sister Kimberly Watts and a son David Wayne Duffield.
Survivors include his wife, Lori, of Levelland; his son, T.J. Duffield and wife, Danielle, of Levelland; a daughter, Krista Ann Duffield, of Lubbock; a son, Josh Harris and wife, Julie, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Jayti, Jentri and Gavin Duffield; his mother, Mary Watts, of Childress; a nephew, Trey Poteet, of Childress; a sister, Julie Vallelonga and husband, Don, of Colorado Springs; a sister, Vickie Taylor, of Waxahachie; a sister, Cynthia Duffield of Laredo; a brother, Mark Duffield, of San Antonio; a brother, Rusty Watts, of Wilmer; sister-in-law, Renee Goundie, of Vernon; brother-in-law, Troy Bradford, and wife, Sherri, of Greenville, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
