Terry Rex Harris, 71, passed away December 10, 2022 in Childress. No services are scheduled at this time.
Terry was born December 18, 1950 in Quanah to Rex Harris and Nova Gem Tate. He was a member of the Class of 1969 of Childress High School. He joined the U.S. Army in May of 1970 where he was an Army Corpsman Private, 2nd Class. He received the Defense Service Medal and a Marksmanship Ribbon. He was stationed in Fort Clayton in Panama. He loved dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Marti LaRossa; a sister, Rheta Carlene Harris Keeling; an aunt and uncle, Rheta and Louis Kanagy and his grandparents, Boss and Dolly Tate.
Survivors include his son, Marty Harris and wife, Rita, of Childress; two stepdaughters, Shay Arrellano of Hondo, Texas and Jennifer LaRossa of Kyle, Texas; a granddaughter, Kyla Mock of Amarillo; a great grandson, a sister, Nancy Henderson and husband, Rickey; and Erin Wages.
