Story DLynn Vest, infant daughter of Sawyer and Whitney Vest, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Stran Smith officiating, assisted by Clif Cooper and Smitty Smith. Burial will follow in Tell Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home. Story was born on May 18, 2017 in Childress to Sawyer and Whitney (Mithlo) Vest. She was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Shirley Hassell. Survivors include her parents, Sawyer and Whitney Vest; grandmother, Sealy “Sweety” Smith Vest and Steve Britten; grandfather, Vance “Triple V” Vest; grandmother, Denise “Grand D” and Joel “Pops” Hassell; grandfather, Davy Mithlo; great-grandparents, Clifton and Judy Smith, Sam and Jerry Vest, Joel and Tonya Rainey, Robin and Mike Pena; aunts and uncles, Vandon Vest, Stetson and Chenae Vest, Lacy Mithlo and Adam DeArmond, Shayle Mithlo and Lonnie Herd, Dathan Hassell, Davyn Mithlo, Kortney Hassell, Justin and Alina Hassell, and Emily Hassell; numerous great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, family and friends.
