Obituary for Salinda Medley
Funeral services for Salinda Marie Medley (Nations) of Cañon City, Colorado will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 1 p.m. Parkview Baptist Church in Childress. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2020.
Salinda was born on September 18, 1959 in Childress. She attended Clarendon College and received her license (LVN). She married Otis on August 22, 1987 in Childress. She worked as an LVN/LPN for over 30 years in Geriatrics and Pediatrics. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Thymolene Nations (Patridge); her father, Garland H. Nations; a brother Danny Glen Nations; and a brother Dickie Bruce Nations.
Survivors include her husband, Otis W. Medley; a son, Caleb Medley and wife, Katie; a son Jonathan Medley and wife, Megan and a son Seth Medley; grandchildren Hugo, Aaron, Nathan, Oliver; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
