Ruby Mae McIntyre Muncrief, age 82, passed away on Saturday, February 04, 2017 in Childress, TX. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 08, 2017 in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Stice officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 07, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Ruby was born September 30,1934 in Woodville, OK to Theodore A. Martin and Bessie (Slape) Martin. She was the last survivor of their 10 children. Ruby had a caring heart who was always taking care of others. She demonstrated this throughout her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She attended the first nursing program at Childress General Hospital in 1965. She loved her family and always enjoyed family gatherings. She was especially involved in her grandchildren’s lives and attended all of their extracurricular activities. Ruby was an amazing seamstress and also enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ricky McIntyre and 9 siblings. She is survived by: Husband - R.
