Ronny Hoytt Hamm, age 50, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Childress Church of Christ with Trey Morgan, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Ronny was born on September 24, 1964 in Crane, Texas to Joe and Barbara (Wooten) Hamm. He was an Offshore Rig Operator for BP for over 20 years. Ronny was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved Corvettes. Most of all, Ronny was a dedicated family man, and was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Genevive and Wilburn Wooten, and Essie and Ransom Hamm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Survivors include his wife, Ronda; daughter, Jackie Martin; son, Colby Compton; son, Justin Hamm; daughter, Caley Galley; son, Jared Hamm; 3 brothers, Tommy, Rusty and Randy Hamm; mother-in-law, Brenda Ricks; parents, Odell and Barbara Lemons, and Joe and Shirley Hamm; 3 grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
