He passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 in Childress.
Rodney was born September 4, 1972 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Ray Guerra and Wanda Nichols Guerra. He was a laborer in the oil and gas industry.
He was a jack of all trades and was a master at detailing cars. Anytime there was a family gathering, he made a good amount of money detailing everyone’s cars. He loved to make people laugh, he got the biggest laughs doing his “bitter beer face.” Rodney also loved going to the game room in Childress. He loved to dance very much and at family reunions, he never sat down. Bessie was his favorite dancing partner. Rodney loved helping people no matter what they needed. He has literally given the shirt off his back.
He was preceded in death by a nephew Kent Roesch and both sets of grandparents, Elroy and Hazel Morris and Guadalupe and Margarita Guerra.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Elena Guerra of Childress; his children, Amber Gonzales (Ethan) of Brady, Texas; Mariah Gallegos (Ricardo) of Humble, Texas; Stacey Guerra of Memphis; Bethany of Childress, Benjamin of Oklahoma City, Breanna of Vernon, and Brennen of Oklahoma City, and Becca of Vernon; grandsons Bryson, Jaxon, Roman, Sebastian, Levy, and Luka; granddaughters Karah, Viviana, Evelynn and Arienna; parents Ray and Wanda Guerra of Childress; siblings Teresa Guerra of Littleton, Colorado, Anthony Guerra and wife, Judy, of Memphis; Steven Guerra and wife, Christine of Mineral Wells and numerous extended family and friends.
