Renonda Mae Jones, age 52, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Memorial services will be at 2 PM on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Parkview Baptist Church with Don McFarland and Chase Finch officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Renonda was born on July 18, 1964 in Springfield, Missouri to Thomas Edward and Paula Mae (Bradley) Lewis. She graduated from Childress High School in 1982. Renonda married Randy Jones on May 3, 1991 in Childress, and they celebrated 25 years together this year. She attended Cisco College on a full music scholarship, after years of singing at funerals and specials at church. She also attended Clarendon College as a student in the LVN program. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Randy Jones; two daughters, Bonnie Satterfield and husband, Derek, and Becky Jones; two sisters, Stephenia Lewis and husband, Eddie, and Debbie Wilhite and husband, Bubba; two brothers, Shane Elmquist, and Brad Elmquist and wife, Brandi; mother Belva Lewis; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Parkview Baptist Church or to CRMC Hospice.
