Obituary for Raul Salazar
Funeral services for Raul Salazar Morales, 54, will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Roy Kafula officiating. Services are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. A rosary will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Salazar passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Childress.
He was born May 5, 1966 in Rio Grande, Texas.
He loved horses, antiques, the outdoors, his grandkids, the cowboy and ranch life, horseback riding, horse races, roping/rodeo and shooting guns.
He just enjoyed living life to the fullest. He was always so strong and bold in everything he did. Everyone was drawn to his captivating spirit making friends wherever God guided his footsteps. He was a giver, always looking to help someone less fortunate than him. He was a real talker and was always looking to get a laugh out of everyone. He loved talking about his many endeavors and childhood stories.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Morales and a brother, Faustino Salazar.
Survivors include his wife Maria Salazar; his children Saul Salazar, Eduardo Salazar, Maira Salazar and Ana Salazar; grandchildren Alex, Lily, Noah and Ray; five brothers; six sisters and his father, Ursolo Salazar.
