Obituary for Preston L. Morgan
Preston L. Morgan, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Wellington.
He was born to Henry and Francis Morgan on May 12, 1939 in Paris, Texas.
He graduated Borger High School in 1957 and married Marijo Anglin that same year. He worked as a Ford mechanic at Bob Johnson Ford in Borger and then pursued a career in law enforcement graduating from the Department of Public Safety Academy in 1967. He served as a DPS Trooper for 30 years. After retirement, he was commissioned as a special Texas Ranger. He enjoyed working in his yard and tinkering in his shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Henry Lee Morgan and a son, Wesley Todd Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Marijo; a son Rick Morgan and spouse, Marty, of San Antonio; a son Rush Morgan and spouse, Debbie, of Childress; a daughter, Wendy Blake and spouse, Victor, of Granbury; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
