Memorial services for Peggy “Sally” Bailey-Heckathorn, 70, will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Worship Center with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Services will be under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. She passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 in Lubbock. She was born September 26, 1949 to Grady and Blanche Campbell Bailey in Portales, N.M. She loved fishing and camping, riding around in the country, getting her hair done, and putting on makeup and getting prettied up. Her favorite show, which she and Mike watched religiously, was Walker, Texas Ranger. She loved her dogs Little Bit and Lilly Dale and loved old country and western music.  She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Ronnie Bailey. Survivors include her husband, Mike Heckathorn of Childress; a son, Shawn Southhall and wife, Melissa, of Vernon; a son, Allen Renfro of Vernon; a son, Kevin Renfro of Vernon; a daughter, Amanda Jones of Childress; a daughter, Lisa Heckathorn of Childress; a daughter, Faith Heckathorn of Childress; her mother, Blanche Bailey of Vernon; a sister, Mona Boles and husband, Jim, of Childress and numerous nieces and nephews.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
