Paula de Munoz, age 93, passed away in Childress, TX on May 24, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, May 28, 2018 in Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 7:00pm on Sunday, May 27 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Paula was born in Mexico on March 05, 1925 to Augustine Sandoval and Amelia Sandoval. She loved and cared for her family. She was an amazing cook and loved gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luis Munoz; son, Agustin Munoz; grandson, Richard De Santiago; 2 great grandchildren, Viola Saucedo and Alex Mendoza. Paula is survived by eight daughters, Lydia de Santiago, Emilia Medina, Maria Gamboa and Maria Elena Ramirez all of Childress, Ofelia Ornelas of Amarillo, Lupita Ceballos of Fontana, CA, Tola Iturralde of Albuquerque, NM, and Dora Cortes of San Antonio, TX; three sons, Luis Munoz of Seminole, TX, Everardo Munoz of Spearman, TX and Arturo Munoz of Cactus, TX; 44 grandchildren; 109 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
