Obituary for Patti Thaten Holmes
Graveside services for Patti Thaten Holmes, 69, will be held Saturday November 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Childress Cemetery with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday November 12, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away November 10, 2021 in Childress.
Patti Thaten was born February 15, 1952 in Childress to George M. “Pat” Thaten and Fannie Ellen Howard Thaten. She was a beautician in Childress for 25 years.
She loved the water and loved to fish. She also loved to eat fish and chicken. She loved the ocean and all animals. She enjoyed bird watching. She also enjoyed embroidery. She especially loved her family and her dogs Toto, Koty and Bill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Clifford Marshall and a great granddaughter, Sophie Burrows.
Survivors include her husband William E. Holmes Jr.; two daughters, Michie Burrows and husband, Royce, and Cheryl Brown and Russell Victor; sister Betti Lanham and husband, Billy; grandson Dakota Burrows; granddaughter Stormy Foster; great grandchildren Enzley Burrows, Isabella Burrows, Aubrey Sanchez, Wyatt Witten and Korde Foster; stepson William E. Holmes III and stepdaughter Koty Holmes.
