Obituary for Patsy Cribbs
Funeral services for Patsy Deen Cribbs, 82, will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 4 p.m. at the Joe E. Jones Memorial Chapel at Childress Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away Monday, December 2, 2019.
She was born February 14, 1937 to Ben Henry Davis and Bessy Dill and was born and raised in Childress. She married Warren Cribbs October 25, 1954.
She was a loving mother and loved her kids and grandkids. She loved all kids and babysat many children who she doted on. She was like a mother to all. She had a great sense of humor and was very involved with her kids. She called her son Bud every day at 4 p.m. She loved Dr. Pepper. Although she couldn’t swim, she loved to water ski. She was very trendy and loved to read mystery and suspense novels. She loved her cats and goats, loved crosses, cooking, ceramics and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren; a son, Dennis Cribbs; a sister, Alma White; a brother, Doyal Davis; a brother N.C. Davis; a sister, Juanita Lumpkin; a sister, Margaret Moore; a sister, Joann Albright.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Cribbs, of Childress; a daughter, Katra Cribbs Blacksher, of Childress; a son, Warren “Bud” Cribbs and wife, Glenda, of Childress; a sister, Bernice Webster of Amarillo; a sister-in-law, Velena Clark, of Corning, Calif.; grandchildren Amie Seal and husband, Delbert; Russell Felton and wife, Malissa; Kasey Smith and husband, Ewan; Justin Felton and wife, Kayla; Brad Cribbs and wife, Simonia; and Reese Cribbs; great grandchildren Ethan Cribbs, Liberty Seal, Vivian Seal, Reid Felton, Blaven Smith, Callum Smith, Kaylee Felton, Kammee Felton, Hayden Cribbs, Jaidee Cribbs and Ivy Cribbs.
