Obituary for Wyatt Phillips
Wyatt Phillips, 71, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 in Childress. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Wyatt was born September 7, 1949 to Oscar Wyatt Phillips, Sr. and Hortense Byars Phillips.
He was a teacher for 33 years teaching Chemistry, Physics, Algebra and Science. He spent the last 22 years of his career as a teacher for Childress Independent School District. He married Dianne on July 16, 1971 in Lockney. He loved tending his garden and his yard and enjoyed guns. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease the girls at the local banks.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Phillips, and his son, Bret Phillips.
