Obituary for Ninfa "Nana Jessie's Girl" Martinez-Ibarra
Ninfa “Nana” “Jessie’s Girl” Martinez-Ibarra, age 56, passed away on May 11, 2019 in Childress, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00am, Monday, May 20, 2019 in Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Nick Gerber officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Johnson Funeral Home.
Ninfa was born on November 19, 1962 to Jose P. Martinez and Elisa Gomez Martinez in Shamrock, Texas. She graduated from Wellington High School and then met her soulmate, Jesus. Ninfa was a very loving and caring person who was a friend to everyone. She was a wonderful wife, mother and Nana. She loved to cook and she was excellent at it. Ninfa also worked at Walmart for 22 years. She loved her job and all of her co-workers.
She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Jazzlee Wilson.
Ninfa is survived by her husband, Jesus Ibarra; daughter, Elisa Ibarra and Chase Wilson; grandsons, Justin Ibarra, Jayden Ibarra and Jasper Wilson; sister, Maria Garza and husband, Saul, all of Childress, TX and several nephews, nieces and extended family.
