Nancy Jones, age 76, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Lubbock. Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Childress with Johnny Robertson officiating and Caleb Deerinwater assisting. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Nancy was born in Childress, TX on April 27, 1936 to Robert and Helen Norris. She married Pete Jones on December 20, 1953. Nancy was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church. She was very active in the church choir, prayer group, and the Pathfinder Sunday school class. She was a member of United Methodist Women, as well as Eastern Star, and two card groups. Nancy loved God and her family dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Pete Jones.
