Mike Donathan, age 58, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the First Baptist Church of Childress Chapel with Kerry Wood officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mike Donathan was born on September 23, 1954 in Ft. Worth, TX to James Harold Donathan and Helen Irene Swain. Mike and Delia were married on February 19, 1984. They had been married 28 years at the time of his passing. He loved school buses and enjoyed all types of hobbies. He ran Sam's Hobbies for years. He loved his plants and working in his yard. Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church and was very active in the Childress Masonic Lodge where he served as Pass Master. Mike was also a Life Gift donor.
