He enjoyed fishing, hunting, guns. He also enjoyed food and eating.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Troy Parnell.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Parnell; a son, Richard Parnell and wife, Joanne; a daughter-in-law, Kim Parnell; a brother, Larry Parnell and three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
