Mickey “Pop” Goree, age 60, passed away on August 27, 2014 in Childress. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Trinity Worship Center, 209 Ave J SE. Burial will take place in Quanah Cemetery at a later date. Mickey was born on October 29, 1953 in Quanah, Texas. Fun-loving and ornery, he was always full of advice when advice was needed. A good man, a great truck driver, and a good friend, he passed on his knowledge and love of cars to his stepson. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bunny, and a son Mickey Jr. Survivors include a brother, Earl Wayne Graham, of Altus, OK; stepson, Lawrence A. Locker and wife, Aphrus, of Felt, OK; four grandchildren, Dakota Guinn, Alexas Locker, Abbigail Locker, and Josephine Travers; and several extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family to help with funeral expenses
