Services for Mattie Lou Meinzer will be 2:00PM Saturday, September 21 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Trey Morgan officiating. Family visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home at 6:00 to 8:00 on Friday September 20. At 11:20 a.m. on September 17, Mattie Lou Meinzer was elevated to glory as the result of a massive stroke. In the preceding 93 years, she was highly regarded for her wisdom and strength by both friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis H. Meinzer and four brothers. She is survived by: Daughter, Mary Dee and her husband Joe Webb of Lubbock, TX, Granddaughter, Ashley Webb, G Grandson John Webb Marchelle "Butch" Zuber, her caregiver, friend, and companion held a very special place in her life. Numerous nieces and nephews, especially Bob Meinzer and Cheryl Meinzer, constantly expressed their love and admiration never forgetting Aunt Mattie. Thank you to Dr. Mike Henderson who generously watched over her well being for the last forty years. We will miss you but know that you have made the journey home to your final reward.
