Obituary for Mary Garrett
Mary Ellen Garrett's life journey began in Taft, Texas on November 12, 1976.
She was born to Amado Santos, Jr. and Felicita Gonzalez. She blessed them as the youngest of the siblings: Brothers Amado Santos III, Armando Santos and sisters Cynthia Ibarra and Irma Prentice.
Sadly, she went to be with the Lord at the young age of 43. She was blessed with a happy, loving, family-filled life.
Mary was a loving mother to to her niece Sarah Lee Ann Santos and fiance Brayden Jesse and children, Alex and Avian Lizama. She had three children, Victoria Isabel Heckathorn and husband, Ryan with granddaughters Aisley and Brinley Heckathorn; daughter Myra Nicole Garrett and son, Billy Don Garrett, Jr. along with nieces and nephews.
Mary had a passion for the holidays, crafts, bringing the family together and singing. She had a beautfiul voice and loved to sing. She could sing anything from rock to Tejano. Nobody could throw a "Grito" like her. Mary was a warm, kind-hearted person. She was called home on July 26, 2020 reuniting her in heaven with her parents.
