Memorial services for Martha Martinez Vitela will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Trinity Worship Center with Ronnie Shoffner officiating.
She passed away December 27, 2021 in Amarillo.
She was born December 29, 1951 in Pearsall, Texas. She loved to cook and clean house. She loved to listen to music, dance, and cruising around town with her son Ramiro Vitela, Jr. and her husband Ramiro Vitela, Sr. She loved getting calls from her beautiful daughter Delma Vitela. It always put a smile on her face to hear from her only daughter that she loved with all her heart. She also had a special bond with her son Ramiro Jr. They were best friends. She also loved animals including her cats, chickens and little dog Precious. She loved giving advice. She loved everyone she met and always had a smile on her face, no matter how sick she was. She always had her make up done and was dressed up, no matter how she was feeling. She had a special place in her heart for her only granddaughters, Alexandria Perez, Briana Perez and great granddaughter Adalyn Skye.
She is preceded in death by her father Jose E. Martinez, her mother Ricarda Martinez, sisters Margarita Martinez, Juana Fernandez and brothers Mike Martinez and Jesus “Chuy” Martinez.
Survivors include her husband Ramiro Vitela, son Ramiro Vitela, Jr. of Childress, daughter Delma Vitela and husband Luis Guitierrez of Odessa, granddaughters Alexandria Perez, Briana Perez, great granddaughter Adalyn Skye, sisters Maria Esquivel, Eloisa Reyes, Gilda Modesto, Bertha Martinez, Irene Martinez, Lupe Monjaras, Norma Trejo Martinez and brothers Joe Martinez, Oscar Martinez and Israel Martinez.
