Marsha K. Forde, age 79, passed away on January 6, 2024 in Amarillo, Texas.

Services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Childress with Lakan Mariano officiating.

Family visitation will be held before the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Johnson Funeral Home.

Marsha was born on October 7, 1944 to Donald Mark Burritt and Erma Madge (Weaver) Burritt in Clarinda, Iowa.

Marsha graduated from Kirtland, New Mexico with the Class of 1963. Shortly after, she met and married the love her life, Eddie in Shiprock, New Mexico on August 14, 1965. Marsha loved to watch her kids, grandkids and great grandkids play sports and dance. She loved fishing and camping in Fun Valley, Colorado. She collected gingerbread man items and used this as term of endearment for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randall Burritt; brother, Richard Burritt; brother, Donald Burritt; sister, Linda Payne; sister, D’Ann Freeman.
