Obituary for Marjorie Hendrick

Graveside services for Marjorie Hendrick, 97, will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Shamrock Cemetery with Dr. David Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away May 28, 2022 in Childress.
Marjorie Sisemore was born August 4, 1924 at home in Pulaski County, Arkansas to George Washington Sisemore and Polly Anne Williams Sisemore. She was one of 12 brothers and sisters. The family moved to Shamrock when she was a teenager. She married Marion Dale Hendrick at the age of 16. She worked for 43 years in the nursery at First Baptist Church of Spearman. She loved Jesus, her family and all of her nursery children. She was a selfless, faith-filled woman of God and was a beautiful woman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Nursery of Spearman or Childress Healthcare Center Landscaping Project.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Dale Hendrick and two sons Ray Hendrick and Joe Hendrick.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Caldwell and husband, Dr. David Caldwell of Childress; two sons, Mike Hendrick and wife, Carrie, of Amarillo and Martin Hendrick and wife, Deborah, of Karvil, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Linda Hendrick of Lufkin; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
