Margie Ruth Parker, age 84, died Friday, November 30, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2012 in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Kendrix and Pastor Steven Ball officiating . Burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00PM. Ruth was born on March 1, 1928 in Kirkland, Tx. to Hubert and Carrie Lou Vaughn Morris. Ruth was a devout Christian. While living in Childress, she was a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Sunday School class she attended. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth "Po" Parker; and three sisters. Survivors: Daughter - Gail Sims and husband, Clayton, of Paris, Daughter - Sharon Stewart and husband, David, of Graham, 6 Grandchildren : Jason Parker and wife, Lori,of Amarillo; Kenny Maxwell, Wichita Falls; Michael Parker and wife, Mandy, Wichita Falls, Matthew and Lindsey Stewart, of Midland, Brittiny, Stephen and Brandon Stewart, Odessa, 5 Greatgranddaughters - Madison, Mackenzie, Cassie, Kennedy Renee, and Sarah Brother - H.B. Morrris Jr., Childress, Special Friend - Audrey Duffy of California.
