A Church Service for Manuela G. Salinas, 47, of Childress, will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church with Randy Wilson officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Johnson Funeral Home before the service. Manuela passed from this life on April 3, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with a long term illness. Arrangements are under the personal care of Johnson Funeral Home.

Manuela is preceded in death by her grandmothers; Manuela Reyes and Beatrice Aleman, her grandparents; Pablo and Margarita Gonzalez.

Manuela leaves behind her husband; Alfonso Salinas, two sons; Alfonso Salinas, Jr. and Miguel A. Salinas and wife Audrey Salinas, daughter; Alicia D. Salinas, granddaughter; Madalyn Salinas, her parents; Juan and Bacilisa Gonzalez, two sisters; Bacilisa Rodriguez and Maria Pesina and husband Felipe, one brother; Juan M. Gonzalez, Jr., 12 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
