Manuela F. Rodriguez, age 89, passed away on January 13, 2020 in Childress, TX.
Services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Nick Gerber officiating.
A rosary will be at 7:00pm, Friday, January 17, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.
Manuela was born on August 24, 1930 to Manuel Flores and Julia Ibarra Rodriguez in Berclair, TX. Manuela loved her children and grandchildren. They were the most important to her. She worked a few jobs throughout her life, but her primary focus was her home and family. She was very active around her home and made sure everything was clean and orderly.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ignacio Rodriguez Jr.; sister, Juanita Gonzalez; brother, Daniel Flores; brother, Manuel Flores Jr.
Manuela is survived by her son, Fernando Rodriguez and wife, Carolyn of Abilene, TX; daughter, Melva R. Valles of Childress, TX; son, Ignacio Rodriguez III and wife, Juanita of Childress, TX; daughter, Elva R. Barrica and husband, Dennis of Richardson, TX; son, Ricky Rodriguez of Childress, TX; sister, Alta Gracia Garcia of Childress, TX; sister, Agapita Rivera of Chicago, IL; numerous grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
