Malcolm Maxie Baker, age 76, passed away on July16, 2018 in Childress, Texas.   Services will at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Childress Church of Christ with Dr. Craig Darter officiating.   Burial will immediately follow in Quail Cemetery in Quail, Texas under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home.
Malcolm Maxie Baker was born on July 19, 1941 to Creed Robert Baker and Callie Jane (Eddings) Baker in Colgate, OK.   Maxie loved to spend time with his family.   He was a talented musician who enjoyed to sing and play guitar.   He loved to hunt coons, elk and deer.
Maxie is preceded in death by his parents; 10 siblings, Robert Baker, Leon Baker, Mildred Beattie, Zora Stephens, Lilly Hook, Hubert Baker, Callie Stephens, Paul Baker, Don Baker and Peggy Hook.
He is survived by:

Son - Harold Baker and wife, Pam of Amarillo, TX
Daughter - Brenda Lewis of Little Rock, AR
Daughter - Mindy Gibbs of Childress, TX
9 Grandchildren
6 Great Grandchildren
Sister - Rosie Wright and husband, Doug of Hedley, TX
Brother - Ronnie Baker and wife, Peggy of Bowie, TX
Numerous nephews and nieces.
