Obituary for Lynda Nall

Lynda Gaynell Evans Nall went home to the Lord's house to as she always said, “polish the clouds”, on September 23, 2021. Lynda was born to Eugene “Gene” Evans and Ruth Bolls Evans Roberts on May 27, 1943. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Lynda was a Philips Blackhawk and proud of it. She and Dr. Ricky Nall married in Roswell, N.M. July 1979 and at that time she became a Texas A&M Aggie. She was accomplished in everything from wrapping meat in a local processing plant to talking to Washington DC for the legal services lawyer she worked for in Nacogdoches.
Twenty-five years ago, she and Dr. Nall opened Nall Chiropractic and she found her calling. Her love of seeing patients and talking and getting to know them was always the best part of her job.
As one patient stated “I call to get an appointment with the Dr. and she told me when and what time I told her by then I probably would not need the Dr. At which she promptly said well, if that’s the case we won’t need to see you either.”
Patients knew that they could tell Lynda anything and it would go no farther. She made lifelong friends at that checkout counter. She loved to give people a hard time, to joke, kid, laugh and cry. She is leaving some dear friends behind.
“Ma,” as she was known by her kids, grandkids and great grandkids was one of the best cooks on the planet. She was known for steaks, schnitzel, chicken and doodles and buttermilk pie. She always kept a warm bed, great food and even better company with any visitor. She had an infectious laugh and quick wit and loved it when all her kids were laughing and telling stories to one up each other. She never missed a kid’s swim meet, baseball, basketball, football, track meet or band concert. They could not participate unless she was there to watch and sometimes add verbal support to both the kid involved or the coach that might not see things her way.
Lynda was fiercely passionate about America, the military, the state of the country, her family and her cats and donkeys. Lynda didn’t need affirmation from anyone and wasn’t afraid to disagree with people, yet was totally fine if you did not agree with her.
Lynda will join her parents, step father O.F. Oscar Roberts, and daughter, Rhonda Cozart.
She leaves a group to celebrate her time on this earth: husband, Ricky L. Nall, DC, son, Rusty Pierce (Cindy) of Corinth, Texas; granddaughter, Brennan Pierce Scott (Tanner) of Lewisville; son, Randy Nall (Misty) Raven and Raiden of Childress; son, Ronny Nall (Jolanda) grandson, Kyle Nall and granddaughter, Kynzlee Nall of Amarillo; grandson, Chance Cozart (Aidee;) great grands: Dakota Allen Cozart, Knight Cozart and Stanton Cozart, granddaughter, Chaney Cozart Allen (Ben), Wilmore, Kentucky; brother Kenneth Evans of Tyler, and several nieces and nephews.
