A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Lydia passed from this life on April 18, 2024 in Amarillo, TX. Arrangements are under the personal care of Johnson Funeral Home in Childress, TX.

Lydia D’Nea Garcia was born on November 16, 1976 in Childress, Texas to Oscar Garcia and Rebecca Clark Williamson. Lydia loved running and listening to Ashton play his guitar. She was a modern day hippie. She loved spending time with her boys whether she felt good or not. Lydia was free spirited and fierce in everything she did. She valued her late night conversations with Matthew and could be hard headed. She loved texting with her family and keeping in touch. She also enjoyed the creative, such as tattoos, art, and taking pictures.

Lydia emulated the sun. She shined so brightly. She would break out into a song or dance or movie quote at any given moment. She had real true love for every person that was in her life, a love that knew no bounds. Her humor was unmatched and stayed with her until the very end. Everything she did, she did with intention, whether that was crafting, writing, or listening; even arguing. She did it with all of her, she didn’t hold back. If you knew Lydia you knew true love, and you knew real fun.

Lydia is survived by her parents, Oscar and Glenna Garcia of Childress, TX and Ivory and Rebecca Williamson of Childress; two sons; Matthew Garcia and Ashton Garcia of Childress; brother; James and wife, Christy Garcia; brother; Adrian and wife, Gina Garcia; sister Melissa Willis and husband, Anthony; two nieces; one great niece, and two great nephews.

Lydia is preceded in death by her sister, Heather Garcia and her grandparents.
