Lucille Jimenez, age 86, passed away on December 4, 2016 in Childress, Tx. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in O'Brien Cemetery in O'Brien, Texas with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Lucille Jimenez was born on January, 7, 1930 in George West, Tx. to Manuel Castaneda and Juana Garza Castaneda. Lucille loved bowling and was in a bowling league. An amazing seamstress, she enjoyed upholstering, crocheting and making clothes for her family. She worked a single job for Standard Meat Company for 25 years, and taught her family the value of hard work. She loved reading her Bible and going to church. A special thank you goes to Doris for her loving dedication to our Mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Crisanto Jimenez; daughter, Ruth Jimenez; Sisters, Irene Bernal and Mary Ozuna, and Brother, Manuel Castaneda. Survivors include: Daughter - Doris Gardner and husband, Donnie of Childress, TX. Daughter - Peggy Belcher and husband, Brian of Telephone, TX. Daughter - Cynthia Borlinghuas and husband, Garry of Selma, TX. Daughter - Christine Frazier and husband, Randy of Ft. Worth, TX. Daughter - Lydia Martin and husband, Charles of Houston, TX. Sister - Virginia Hunt of San Antonio, TX. Special Niece - Patsy Kilpatrick of Ft. Worth, TX. 17 Grandchildren Numerous Great Grandchildren
