Obituary for Lonnie "Jamie" Longbine

Funeral services for Lonnie “Jamie” Longbine, 60, will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.
He passed away peacefully Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Childress at his home.
Lonnie James Longbine was born June 20, 1960 in Childress to Jimmy Longbine and Shirley Powell Longbine. He was a employee of the United States Postal Service.
He loved fishing and being out in the country. He loved his grandchildren. He was also a craftsman who loved working with wood. He loved the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edward Scott Longbine and Charlie Longbine; his grandmother Dollie Longbine; his grandfather Lonnie Longbine and his maternal grandparents.
Survivors include a son Kyle Longbine and wife, Brandi of Childress; a daughter Sarah Rodriguez and husband, David of Childress; a daughter Elizabeth Bond and husband, Justin, of Telephone, Texas; a son Steven Ortiz and wife, Stephanie, of Fort Worth; a daughter Victoria Wienecke and husband, Clay, of Telephone, Texas; a sister Lisa Pollard of Inola, Oklahoma; a sister Brenda Taylor of Pecola, Oklahoma; former wife Lisa Gonzalez of the home; father-in-law Lee Gonzalez of Childress; grandchildren Kylee, Kendalyn, Kaydence, Miriam, Braylee, Josiah, Savannah, Elijah, Brighton, Kohen, Rohyn and great grandchild Breck.
