He passed away December 7, 2021 in Childress.
He was born November 15, 1931 in China Nuevo de Leon, Mexico to Victor Gonzalez Sr. and Juanita Cantu Gonzalez.

His Family describes him as a man with grit and dignity. You could always find him with his pearls snaps and a cowboy hat rolling a cigarette. His farm meant the world to him. There was not a morning that went by that his cows didn’t feel his love and his land wasn’t graced by his energy. Stranger or not, he would give the last coins in his pocket to make sure you could at least get a coke. Lee would like to make his grandchildren believe he wore many hats like baseball player, firefighter etc. The stories were endless, charismatic and kept everyone full of joy and laughter. His gentleness and guidance in life allowed many around him to learn a true way to work hard, be kind and love deeply.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Gloria Gonzalez; his second wife Dominga Gonzalez; his son Lisandro Gonzalez, Jr.; brothers Vicente, Victor, Roberto, Vicente, Liborio and sisters Maria, Antonia, Trinidad, Mecedonia, Victoria, Dominga, Eudelia and Juanita.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Gonzalez; grandchildren Elizabeth Bond and husband, Justin, Steven Ortiz and wife, Stephanie, Victoria Wienecke and husband, Clay, Jennifer Gonzalez, Leesandra Gonzalez and Leann Gonzalez, Kyle Longbine and family, Sarah Rodriguez and family; great grandchildren Braylee, Josiah, Savannah, Elijah, Kohen, Brighton, Rohyn, Katelyn and Ryan; sisters Elvira Garcia and Ignacia Rodriguez.
