Linda Key Rothwell passed away on December 31, 2023 in Kirkland, TX.

Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wilson and Jim Lyle presiding. Burial to follow at the Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 6 - 8pm at Johnson Funeral Home.

Linda was born on September 14, 1945 in Childress, TX to Vernon Heil Key and his wife, Allie Theora (Davidson) Key. She met and fell in love with Walter Rothwell. She lived a life as a devoted military wife for 20 years and was a wonderful, loving mother. Linda also liked to travel. She and Walter were full time RVers for 20 years. She loved being retired and having the freedom to travel. Linda was very devoted to her Christian faith and absolutely loved her grandchildren, greats and great- greats.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tinese Dian Rothwell; brother, Ray Key; and sister Caulene Mason.
