Obituary for Jan Timmons
Letha Jan Timmons, 77, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Childress. No services will be held.
Letha Jan Bumpus was born January 25, 1944 in Childress to Pete and Vida Cosper Bumpus. She was one of nine children.
She enjoyed playing basketball and was known to be good at it. She loved being outside in the sun gardening and as a beautician, she loved changing the color of her hair. Everyone agreed that she was a very nice person and she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Timmons; a son, Greg Timmons and siblings John, Thad, Martin, Betty and Billie.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina Taylor of Arizona; three grandchildren Colt Taylor, Danielle Taylor and Marta Rostain all of Arizona; two great grandchildren Jace Taylor and Jett Rostain; a brother, Jay Bumpus and sisters Katie and Linda.
