Leona Burk, age 80, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 in Childress. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2014 in Joe E. Jones Memorial Chapel in Childress Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Sims officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Leona was born on August 21, 1934 to McKenza and Edna Mae (Terry) Robertson. She married the love of her life, Harold Burk, on December 16, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and by a son, Terry Burk, on September 28, 2007.
