Larry Wayne Banks, age 74, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Childress. Services will be at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel at 10 am Saturday, April 20, 2013 with Pastor Steven Ball officiating. Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm. Larry Wayne Banks was born in Childress, Texas on November 23, 1938 to Andy and Gracie Banks. Larry loved painting and spending time with his grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Phillis Ann Banks; and two brothers, Eugene Banks and J.R.Banks.
