Obituary for Kenneth Moss

Services for Kenneth Moss will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 3:00PM At Westhill Church with Rev. Tommy Sims officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Kenneth was born on February 11, 1942 in Crowell, Texas to John Henry and Christine Moss. Kenneth worked as a head golf pro, director of golf and general manger at various country clubs in the southwestern United States as well as being the resident and teaching pro in Costa Rica for 3 years and returning to the states in 2002. He had 34 years of experience as a teacher in golf courses in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona. He assisted golf coaches in working with their golfers at several colleges in Texas and Oklahoma. Kenneth played PGA Tour on a part-time basis from 1968-1974. Ken's teaching philosophy leaned toward A.J. Bonor and Gary McCord's methods plus his own KISS system, "Keep it simple, Stupid". Ken was a loving father and brother. He was a true believer in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He was a people person and was well liked by everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents: He is survived by: Brother: John Moss and wife Jane of Childress; Daughter: Kimberlee Thomas and husband Kyle of Arlington: 2 Sons: Kenny Moss and wife Carol Ann of Mansfield, Tx.; Kerry Moss and wife Cynthia of Boys Ranch, Tx; Sister: RoseMary Stewart and husband Harold of Rochester, MN> 6 Grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
