Obituary for Kelly Franklin
Graveside services for Kelly Franklin, 49, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Childress Cemetery with Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
She passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Childress.
Kelly was born November 29, 1971 in Amarillo to Michael and Pamela Willis. She married the love of her life, Billy Franklin, on June 23, 1990 in Memphis at the Travis Baptist Church.
Kelly was a dedicated Walmart associate for 26 years. In her free time she enjoyed going to her lake cabin at Lake Texhoma with Billy and her dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Franklin, of Childress; her daughter Heather Bacon and husband, Joel, of Tekamah, Neb.; grandson Daniel Bacon of Tekamah, Neb.; her son Billy Franklin Jr. and Eva Moreno and her future granddaughter of Memphis; a brother Mike Willis and wife, Mary, of Bushland, Texas; her sister Stacy Willis of Corrigan, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews.
