Funeral services for Keith Trosper, 59, will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. W.D. Green and Kerry Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
He passed away May 5, 2023 in Childress.
Keith was born December 10, 1963 in Childress to Bill and Sue Richardson Trosper.
He loved to hunt and fish and was very kind hearted, there wasn’t a mean bone in his body. If he wasn’t working hard, he was out fishing. He was a hard worker and would help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed taking care of Patrick’s cows and loved to cut up with his nieces and nephews. He could cook the very best hamburgers and could fix anything. He was an all around good guy and loved by his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Trosper; grandparents Frank and Lois Trosper and Afton and Wanna Richardson; and his mother-in-law, Jodi Ray.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Trosper; his mother, Sue Trosper; siblings Vicki Goodwin and husband, Mike, Pam Gambol and husband, Larry, Cathy Lane and husband, Ricky, Mike Trosper and wife, Shirley, and Kirk Trosper; brother-in-law Jeff Thomas and wife, Janie, sister-in-law Kelly Foster and husband, Matt, sister-in-law Deborah Thomas and sister-in-law Mehgan Farris and husband, David; numerous extended family members, close friends Patrick and Dena Parker and his Greenlight Gas family.
