Katie Diann Shoffner was born November 22, 1950 to Viola Fern Goundie and Robert Hill Goundie, and passed from this life on September 24th, 2022. She was born and raised in Childress, TX, and graduated from Estelline High School class of 1968.
She was proceeded in death by both of her parents.
She is survived by 3 children, son Brandon Freeze of Lubbock, TX; daughter Brittney Hoover of Allen, TX; and son Brian Shoffner of Childress, TX; 7 Grandchildren: Lindsey Ackerman and husband Cade; Laurin Bocanegra and husband Stratton; Luke Freeze; Mattie Freeze; Hanna Hoover; Isaiah Hoover and wife Zoe; Marli Shoffner; Brandon Shoffner and wife Liz. 5 great grandchildren: Aubrey and Riley Ackerman; Vada James Bocanegra; Oliver and Mason Shoffner. She is also survived by a brother Dale Goundie and wife Myra.
She was a lifelong lover of music, she loved to dance, paint, scrapbooking, and she loved going to the casino. She was a nurse, baker, grandma, and friend.
